Reminder: Essay Zone
Starting January 10, 2012 - Ending June 10, 2012
.
Reminder for your W12 course prep: Essay-Zone is available to MRU students in 2011-2012
Essay-Zone, the online writing tutorial, is engaging, useful, and pedagogically sound. Its use by your students gives you a common language when discussing papers and written assignments with them.
Some instructors offer Essay-Zone to their students as an accessory to a course (the login instructions for Essay-Zone are on the mymru.ca homepage); others incorporate Essay-Zone’s pre-quiz and post-quiz into the course’s grading scheme. The choice is yours, and I’m happy to discuss options with you.
View Essay-Zone yourself at www.academic-zone.ca with the Access Code MyYOEtRJr. If you prefer, I can demo it with you. You can also register your class with me and get your own Access Code, which will allow you track your students’ quiz results.
For further information and / or to register your class, call 6341 or email asmyth@mtroyal.ca
Thanks for your interest in this helpful tool.
